Weingarten, 26.03.2025 – GRIESHABER Logistik GmbH is expanding its network with the cargo association ELVIS. This cooperation opens up new opportunities in the area of part loads and bulky goods and increases the efficiency and flexibility of logistics solutions for customers.
The cooperation with ELVIS offers numerous advantages, in particular the optimization of traffic routing for partial loads. GRIESHABER Logistik is thus able to serve all regions of Germany and neighboring European countries with reliable transit times on a daily basis. Ralf Heersma-Plattner, Managing Director Forwarding and Transport at GRIESHABER Logistik GmbH, emphasizes: “With the cooperation via ELVIS, we are improving transit times and significantly increasing flexibility for our customers. This is a further step towards meeting the dynamic requirements of the market.
Another advantage of this partnership is the digital innovations that ELVIS is investing in. Dominik Herr, Head of Freight Forwarding Weingarten, explains: “We benefit from the further development of our own processes thanks to advanced platforms for freight brokerage and transport optimization.”
Access to an experienced community of freight forwarders within the ELVIS network enables GRIESHABER Logistik to exchange experiences. “This benefits our customers, as we can continuously improve our services through the intensive transfer of knowledge and experience. As a result, we are able to handle Europe-wide transports more efficiently and smoothly, which offers our customers greater reliability and better delivery times,” adds Dominik Herr.
The cooperation with ELVIS also helps to reduce CO₂ emissions per transported unit by bundling shipments in the ELVIS network. Heersma-Plattner adds: “By working with ELVIS, we are making an active contribution to promoting environmentally friendly and sustainable logistics.”
By integrating into the ELVIS network, GRIESHABER Logistik is consolidating its position in the forwarding industry and supplementing its existing cooperation with partners such as ONLINE Systemlogistik, 24 Plus, VTL and SIM Cargo. These strategic steps enable the transport company to continue to meet the high demands of its customers.
