Company History

We are a small economic miracle, too.

Heinrich Grieshaber, Sr., sets up his freight forwarding company in 1951 in the south of Germany where Germany, France and Switzerland meet. Hard work and reliability guarantee his success.

Heinrich Grieshaber, Jr., joins the management team in the early 1970's.
He proves to be ambitious and expands the Weingarten/Oberschwaben site, which over time becomes the biggest branch.

This is followed by a dynamic development achieved by judicious expansion of the range of services.

In the mid 80's the focus is placed on a holistic logistics approach.

The company name is changed into Grieshaber Transport und Logistik.

The 90's are marked by investments in infrastructure, networks and acquisitions.

Establishment of contract logistics.

With the new millennium the legal form is changed from GmbH & Co. KG, a limited liability company, to AG, a public limited company.

Further growth is achieved thanks to the intense development of logistics competences, especially in the areas of small parts and pharmaceutical logistics as well as in the segment of international transport / projects.

In 2005 Grieshaber Logistik AG, Weingarten, Germany is founded.
Since then, we have found ourselves even closer to our customer's needs. We offer you a lean and fast organisation. Flexibility is not just a catchword, it is an attitude we live up to.
